Nathan Redmond advises Pep Guardiola on management after Man City’s narrow win over West Ham

Man City once again scored a late goal to secure all three points in a dramatic Premier League fixture this afternoon.

Angelo Ogbonna’s downward header gave West Ham the lead in the first half before Nicolas Otamendi equalised for the hosts.

David Silva then scored with seven minutes to play to break David Moyes’ cold heart.

The well-endowed magician’s goal was the main talking point but some eagle-eyed viewers noticed an intriguing interaction after the final whistle.

Southampton’s Nathan Redmond appeared to angrily confront Guardiola as he headed down the tunnel.

Initially it looked as the England winger was criticising City’s manager as he rattled through a display of intense gestures.

A ‘professional’ lipreader even claimed that Redmond had called him a ‘pretentious tika-taka loving bell**d who wouldn’t do s**t if he was in charge of a mid-table club with a limited budget’ but this was later proven to be inaccurate.

The pair later revealed that Redmond had praised Guardiola and offered him a few words of advice and support.

Lee Satchell, a close friend of Redmond, told the media: “Nathan is a big fan of Pep, he thinks he’s got a bright future.

“He thinks Pep is superb man manager and really excels one-to-one with his players.

“But, just like the bookies, Nathan thought City should have beaten West Ham 7-0 and simply suggested to Pep that he should consider being a bit more positive against a team in the relegation zone next time.

“It was all very friendly and has been blown out of proportion.”
