FIFA 19: Fans are desperately begging EA to add Michy Batshuayi’s celebration fail to the game

FIFA fans are pleading to EA Sports to put Michy Batshuayi’s hilarious celebration on FIFA 19.

Belgium went 1-0 up against England and the winger celebrated by trying to boot the ball into the net.

But he smashed it into the post and it rebounded back on to his face.

lol

Luckily, Batshuayi took both the impact and the situation very well and went on Twitter to explain.

Ahahha I knew I would be f*cked the minute I come to my mentions 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 why am I so stupid bro 🤦🏾‍♂️ shit hurts

— Michy Batshuayi (@mbatshuayi) June 28, 2018

The tweet, which was retweeted more than 300,000 times then spurred a load of fans to react – asking EA to add the bizarre ‘celebration’ to this year’s game.

Take a look at some of these.

@EASPORTSFIFA hi guys… just wondering if we can have the batshuayi goal celebration on Fifa 19 ? You know… the one where he boots the ball at the post and it rebounds in his face ? Thanks in advance

Michy Batshuayi nearly knocked himself out while Adnan Januzaj was celebrating

It’s not the end of the world, is it?

Even if we lose this, England will play Colombia in the next round and face a ‘simpler’ route to World Cup glory.

It’s coming home either way.

Peach.Reuters

But the best thing about Adnan Januzaj’s goal wasn’t the way he sat Danny Rose down with a beautifully executed piece of skill.

Nor the way he arrowed a left-footed shot past Jordan Pickford into the England net.

But the way Michy Batshuayi got involved in the celebrations – nearly knocking himself out.

Can’t stop thosePA:Press Association

Batshuayi, who recovered from an injury just in time to make it to Russia, collected the ball as it rolled out of the net and turned to run away with his teammates.

But before he left the goalmouth he smashed the ball against one of the posts in sheer delight.

What he didn’t expect was to see the ball coming straight back at him at 100mph.

Connecting directly with his smiling chops.

A small moment of glory for any England fans out there.

To be fair Twitter absolutely loved it too…

Batshuayi nearly knocking himself out in celebration of Belgium’s goal has made my night 😂

@SkyBet odds on Batshuayi doing a cringey tweet about him booting the ball at the post and it hitting him in the face?

— Ryan [COYS/THFC] (@ryangoldy8) June 28, 2018

So everyone else saw Batshuayi pick the ball up after the goal and kick it against the post to smash him back in the face 😂😂😂 #EnglandvBelgium #ENGBEL #WorldCup

You have to feel sorry for Sweden.

Toni Kroos was Germany’s hero after he produced a moment of magic to save Germany from the brink of World Cup elimination.

Kroos had the pressure of a nation on his shoulders when he stepped up in stoppage-time.

The Madrid man had been one of Germany’s worst performers on the night, giving the ball away in the buildup to Sweden’s opener through Ola Toivonen.

Kroos however made up for his mistake in the best way possible.

This reminded everyone of Ronaldo’s expression before his free-kick against Spain Kroos rolled the ball to Marco Reus who laid it back to the Bayern man The textbook strike curled into the top corner The stadium erupted after the dramatic winner

The goal sparked scenes of jubilation from supporters and from Germany coaching staff and substitutes on the touch-line.

The fans couldn’t contain themselves

The late winner was reminiscent of Ronaldo’s last-gasp free-kick against Spain which earned Portugal a 3-3 draw.

Kroos stepped up to the ball with the same confidence that CR7 had before his strike.

Just when it looked all but over for the four-times world champions, Germany’s fate is now back in their own hands.

Joachim Low’s side will come up against group minnows South Korea in their final game, whilst Sweden face Mexico.

World Cup fantasy football: The five highest-rated fantasy performances of the World Cup

The World Cup is a time to make a name for yourself, especially among fantasy football managers.

Dream Team World Cup players thrive of those individual performances that hoover up fantasy points.

When you’re outshining Modric you’re definitely doing something rightGetty - Contributor

As you know, there are three points on offer for a WhoScored.com rating of over 7 and another five for being named Star Man.

We have scoured the 26 matches that have already been played and can bring you the top five highest-rated performances of this World Cup.

***Spoiler Alert*** Cristiano Ronaldo’s performance against Spain ISN’T no.1.

Denis Cheryshev, Russia – 8.94 Definition of super-subGetty - Contributor

Talk about a substitute making an impact.

Cheryshev came on after 24 minutes and went on to score twice in a brilliant display for the Russians in the opening game.

He racked up 13 points and registered a shining rating of 8.94 with WhoScored.com – but surprisingly he wasn’t even Star Man in that game.

Against Argentina Rakitic showed the world what he hasn’t been allowed to do at Barcelona.

Passing, tackling, goal-clearances, scoring goals, you name it Rakitic did it.

Rakitic’s stunning display against the Argentinians was the first performance in this list which scored above nine as the Croatian bagged 13 points.

Jose Gimenez, Uruguay – 9.56 He protec, he atac, he scores goalsEPA

He kept a clean sheet, generally bossed Egypt’s attackers and then went up the other end and scored a last-minute winner from a corner.

It was a dominant display from 23-year-old Jose Gimenez and it laid the foundation for Uruguay to likely top Group A.

A rock at the back, Gimenez put in the third highest rated performance of the tournament so far with his 9.56.

Cristiano Ronaldo, Portugal – 9.83 The NASA ball doing all sorts of strange things to Ronaldo’s faceReuters

Three goals, against Spain, in your first match of the World Cup 2018, everyone saying you are better than Lionel Messi… Ronaldo couldn’t have dreamt it better himself.

OK, the first one was a penalty, the second a dodgy error but the third was pure Ronaldo magic.

The rest of his game wasn’t bad either.

Ronaldo rocked the WhoScored.com richter scale with a whopping 9.83 and 28 points.

Backed it up with his fourth goal of the tournament against Morocco in his next game.

Aleksandr Golovin, Russia – 9.91 The star man donAP:Associated Press

So, so close to the perfect 10.

Golovin was everything you would want from your midfield playmaker against Saudi Arabia.

He conducted the orchestra from the middle of the park and laid two goals on a plate for his teammates.

If that wasn’t enough he stepped up to curl home a stunning free-kick for Russia 5th goal.

It may be controversial but we’re going with Golovin over Ronaldo on this one.
