Hugely positive news on the injury front for Martin O'Neill's Ireland

Burnley midfielder Jeff Hendrick is expected to be available to start this weekend's first leg of Ireland's World Cup play-off against Denmark in Copenhagen.
The Dubliner was a doubt for the game but positive results to a scan of his injured glute/lower back should mean he's available to Martin O'Neill this weekend.
Hendrick, who sat out training this morning in Abbottstown, was called ashore after 65 minutes of Burnley's 1-0 win over Southampton at the weekend and has been Ireland's chief injury concern since then.
His club teammate Stephen Ward resumed light training this morning after recovering from a hamstring strain and is also expected to be fit.
